Burns Night Raises Funds For Scholarships

 
On January 25th, the Rotary Club of East Nassau celebrated the life and work of Scottish poet Robert Burns and at the same time raised funds for the East Nassau Rotary Club Foundation which provides partial scholarships for Bahamian students to continue their education both at home and abroad.
 
 
The evening included traditional Scottish bagpipes and haggis as well as a whisky tasting featuring a fine variety of single malts.
The East Nassau Rotary Club Foundation was formed in 1995 and currently awards scholarships to 10 Bahamian students.
